What is a Yoga Wall?

Based on the principles of alignment, a yoga wall is used as a second plane of support incorporating handles, straps, and belts allowing students of all levels to feel supported in yoga shapes. Deepening yoga postures while opening and creating space in the body using gravity and inversions. The original “Yoga Wall” took on the form of ropes attached to wall hooks, designed by B.K.S. Iyengar. The Yoga Wall has been modernized for greater comfort and ease of use to accommodate all body sizes, shapes, and types. The wall is great for beginners for extra support and balance or to experience full inversions safely and comfortably.  Advanced practitioners find the wall instrumental in experiencing new postures safely and to deepen their experience. Students with injuries or physical limitations find the Yoga Wall provides additional support as well as freedom to move safely while feeling held.  Come experience how a yoga wall feels in your body.
